The short version: Ace Binder does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no user accounts, and nothing you do in the app is sent to us.
Ace Binder ("the app," "we," "us") is a Pokémon card binder and collection-tracking app for iPhone and iPad, published by Ember Indigo Trove. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Ace Binder does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app. We do not collect names, email addresses, or any other identifying information. We do not have servers that store your collection data, and we cannot see, access, or recover the contents of your binders.
Everything you create in Ace Binder — your binders, the cards you've collected, and your settings — is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, the app uses Apple's iCloud sync to back up and sync this data across your own devices, through your personal iCloud account. This data is encrypted and managed entirely by Apple under your Apple ID; it never passes through or is stored on any server operated by us. We have no access to it. If you delete the app or turn off iCloud sync for Ace Binder, that data is removed the same way any other iCloud app data would be — through your device or iCloud settings, not through us, since we never had a copy.
Ace Binder does not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and it does not track you across apps or websites. The only usage information collected is Apple's own built-in App Store Connect analytics (installs, crash reports, and aggregate ratings), which Apple provides to all developers in anonymized, aggregated form. We do not receive any individual-level or personally identifiable data from this.
Ace Binder displays publicly available Pokémon Trading Card Game data — card details, images, and market pricing — sourced from TCGplayer and TCGdex. This is reference/catalog data about trading cards, not personal information about you. Fetching this data does not require or transmit any information that identifies you personally.
Ace Binder does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the app has no accounts and no data collection, there is nothing for us to gather regardless of a user's age.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties, because we do not collect any information to begin with. Ace Binder is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., or The Pokémon Company International.
If this policy changes — for example, if we ever introduce a feature that does collect data — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. We recommend checking back periodically.
